The greater St. Louis area has a growing early music community. It now boasts two professional early music ensembles--The Kingsbury Ensemble and Early Music St. Louis (EMSL)
--that present concert series at venues throughout the area using historically correct instruments and performance practices.
Several other concert series also include early music events from time to time. And of course the St. Louis Recorder Society has a variety of activities throughout the year.
The columns below and to the right list all the upcoming recorder and early music events that the webmaster is aware of. Be sure to follow the links to be certain the information is up-to-date. If you know something that should be listed, please contact Bill Long.

The performers are Douglas Worthen and Paul Thompson, baroque flutes; Eric Lenz, baroque cello; and, of course, Maryse Carlin harpsichord.
