Sheet Music (mostly free)
- Alain Naigeon. Nicely engraved Renaissance scores for consort. The text is in French.
- Arenaï ensemble vocal. Renaissance vocal music that fits a recorder consort nicely. The text is in French.
- The Choral Public Domain Library. Free choral music, some of which can be adapted for recorder.
- Coppini Edition. A nicely engraved and annotated edition of Italian madrigals of Monteverdi and others. It's vocal music, but adapts well for recorders.
- Del's Dance Book. This site has not only nicely engraved editions of early dance music, but instructions and videos (!) for doing the dances.
- Dolmetsch online-sheet music. A number of pieces of recorder music ranging from methods to some challenging consort transcriptions. It requires the scorch plug-in.
- Dr. Dr. Bill's Music Page. The doctor doctor is in! Free sheet music and other things, mostly recorder related.
- Frescores: free sheet music. A site with all sorts of music, nicely engraved. The Spanish text is not difficult for an English speaker to navigate.
- Kantorei Archiv. A number of nice consort arrangements of baroque music. The text is in German. Just remember, "Blockflote"="recorder".
- legallic.yann. I can't figure out who the creator of this French web page is, but there are a number of useful consort arrangements on it.
- The Music of Thomas Ravenscroft. OK, it is a bit specialized, but Ravenscroft did write wonderful vocal music that works well on instruments.
- Pascal Premier. Go to the partitions link and at the bottom of the page you'll find some outrageous consort arrangements of movie themes.
- Recorder Music, maintained by Christian and Annette Mondrup. Excellently engraved free music
- Recorder Music arranged by LoveSchubert. Good recorder consort arrangements of music from a variety of sources, some quite suprising.
- Sibelius Music. Sibelius is the other music notation software and this site has a lot of music, much of it free, created with that software. You have to download the free scorch plug-in to see the music. Hint: use the advanced search capability of the site to find recorder music.
- Society for Creative Anachronism 30 Year Celebration. Lots and lots of early dance music.
- Steve Hendrick's Music Collection. Lots of nifty Renaissance dances for your next SCA gathering.
- Werner Icking Music Archive. Lots of free music, including many things for recorder.
