The St. Louis Recorder Society

Meetings and Activities

Meetings of the St. Louis Recorder Society are usually held the third Sunday of the month. Programs are chosen to appeal to a variety of interests and playing levels. Sometimes there is a brief educational program and there's always playing in large and small groups. Members can bring along music they'd like to play or we can draw on SLURS large library of scores. Be sure to check this page or contact one of the SLURS officers before a meeting because once in a while meeting dates are changed at the last minute.

SLURS meets regularly in the Music Department of the University of Missouri St. Louis. It is located on the UM-St. Louis South Campus on the South side of Natural Bridge Road, about halfway between the old Normandy Community Hospital and University Drive, the main entrance to the UM-St. Louis North Campus.
